Besides the software we use all the time there is also software we use on a non daily basis, but still need from time to time for our work.

This page provides an overview of additional software tools I use in my daily work.
They support communication with customers and teams, software development, system administration, documentation, and multilingual collaboration.
Documentation & Visual Assets
I use tools such as Microsoft Snipping Tool to create screenshots and screen capture video's for software documentation and workflow explanations.
Microsoft Paint 3D is used to create and adjust icons or visual elements used in software and documentation.
Communication & Collaboration
For customer and team communication, I rely on a mix of platforms depending on context and availability.
This includes Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Quick Assist, Discord, KChat, and Webex for chatting, calling, screen sharing, meetings, and daily or weekly coordination.
Email and agenda management is handled through KMail, KSuite, KDrive, and Thunderbird, both locally and via online platforms.
Browsers & Testing
Multiple browsers are used for testing, troubleshooting, and general browsing.
This includes Firefox, Brave, and Opera, allowing me to verify behavior across different environments.
Operating Systems & System Tools
I work across both Windows and Linux environments.
Windows PowerShell and WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux) are used for command-line operations, scripting, and running Linux tools within Windows.
Linux is primarily used as a server operating system.
Office & Productivity
For managing office documents, I use OnlyOffice and LibreOffice, depending on context and compatibility requirements.
Only Office is also used to create pdf fillable forms.
Development & Code Analysis
Visual Studio Code is used alongside PyCharm for coding, configuration, and quick edits.
Notepad++ is mainly used for fast searches and inspections across external codebases.
AI & Assistance Tools
AI-based tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Junie are used to generate ideas, assist with translations, review code, validate approaches, and support problem-solving during development.
