Hide Compute Depreciation
Description
When selecting multiple assets in the list view and choosing "Compute Depreciation" from the action menu, depreciations are reset even if they already exist. This can lead to significant issues in reconciling your accounts. This module hides the "Compute Depreciation" menu item to prevent accidental double depreciations.
User Manual
1. Install the module.
2. Go to the Assets list view.
3. Select multiple assets.
4. Notice that the "Compute Depreciation" option is no longer available in the Action menu, preventing accidental resets of existing depreciations.
